Individual Therapy
Individual therapy typically runs 55 minutes weekly, but duration and frequency are flexible depending on client schedules and needs. Clients are in control of their care. Individual sessions can be used to process difficult experiences, learn strategies and coping skills, dig into values work, learn how to regulate your nervous system for peace, executive functioning strategies, address unmasking, and more.

mapping out your nervous system to understand and work with your brain and your body to find calm

self advocacy at work or with loved ones to protect your peace
understanding your sensory needs, and how to meet them

setting boundaries for the conflict avoidant
identifying and addressing internalized ableism
Anxiety:
Work with anxiety may involve or include:
mapping out your nervous system to understand and work with your brain and your body to find calm
learning preventive strategies to minimize stress
learning grounding strategies to use when you feel unstable or out of control
listening to your emotions to discover the messages they have for you
healing from past trauma
Family Conflict Resolution:
The restorative practices model is utilized to address and heal family conflict. This model is partially inspired by indigenous practices to heal community after harm is committed to fully move forward. In this model, everyone gets a voice in the repair. Some specific strategies that this may incorporate include any of the strategies listed in the above sections.
Family Therapy
Family therapy can be used for one session to resolve an issue, or on-going to strengthen bonds, and improve communication. The “family” of family therapy is self-defined. Sessions can include children and caregivers, child siblings, adult siblings, adults with their childhood caregiver(s), chosen family members, or other.
ADHD:
Work with ADHD may involve or include:
mapping out your nervous system to understand and work with your brain and your body to find calm
burnout recovery
unmasking safely and confidently
creating systems to guard your precious energy; this includes executive functioning coaching - developing systems that work for you to get all of your needed tasks done and have time and space for your passions
understanding how to motivate your unique brain style (Hint: it’s not what works for the neurotypical brain style!)
Tweens (ages 10-13):
Work with Tweens may involve or include:
building confidence
navigating peer relationships: resolving conflicts in a healthy way, navigating friendships and “crushes”, dealing with “mean girls” or mean-spirited behavior from any peer
navigating a changing biological and emotional landscape - understanding this new intensity of emotion and learning skills and strategies to protect your peace and calm
stress management skills
