Meet the Owner: Liz Waszkiewicz, LCSW

Hi! I’m Liz. Nice to meet you. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Connecticut, and I’ve been working in the field of social work since 2008. For 10 years I was a school social worker, working with children from Kindergarten-grade 12. I’ve also worked in nonprofit conducting therapy with children, families and adults, and done work in program development and training.

In 2024 I was ready to move on from public education. At the same time, I was slowly realizing my own possible neurodivergence. My best friends had always had ADHD - some late diagnosed. I also raised an autistic child through to adulthood (and still am in the way that we are always parents to our adult children). Autism has always been a special interest of mine. In early 2025 I opened my practice with a specialty in Autism, ADHD and anxiety.

With many years of experience in schools, I love working with kids ages 8 and older. Parent coaching and family work are also deeply meaningful. In addition, I have come to find something special about working with “my people” - late diagnosed or self-realized autistic and/or ADHD adults, just like me. With this group of folks, I can teach you how to map your nervous system, tune into what your brain and body are communicating to you, and how to work with your brain instead of fighting against it to access your superpowers and be your best self. Let’s chat about finding that balance of unmasking safely and confidently. Let’s discuss disclosure. Let’s work together to meet your goals for your best possible life.

If any of this sounds good to you, feel free to reach out, I look forward to hearing from you!
